Write-Off Account UtilityThe Write-Off Account Utility provides users with the ability to quickly enter several Transaction Classification 955: Bad Debt Write-Off Transactions.

This mass write off tool is accessed from the Financialmenu and then Write Off Accounts.

This will open the Write-Off Accounts page as shown below.

Users can enter one or more Account Numbers separated by a comma or new line.
Account Numbers can also be copied and pasted from a spreadsheet.

Clicking the Write-Off Accounts button will execute the process. The system will show a summary of the results:

Click the Post Transactions button to open the Transaction Posting. Review and post the transactions to complete the write off process.
